What Leap stores
- Your account: name, email and password (the password is stored hashed by Supabase, never in plain text).
- Your Autofill information: the contact details, education, work history, work authorization and answers you enter.
- The text of resumes you add for fit scoring. The resume files in your resume folder are never uploaded; Leap only reads one when you press Autofill and attaches it to the form you're on.
- Your applications: company, role, posting address, dates, status, which resume file you used, the visa verdict and your notes.
Where it is kept
In your browser, and in your account on a Supabase project (a hosted database). Every row is tied to your account and the database only lets a signed-in person read and write their own rows. The person who runs this Leap server has administrator access to that database, as with any hosted service.
If you set up the optional Google Apps Script for email tracking, your application records are also sent to that script, which runs in your own Google account.
What Leap does not do
- No AI, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking.
- It doesn't sell or share your data with anyone.
- It reads the pages you visit only to scan job postings and fill application forms on them, and keeps nothing else about your browsing.
- It never submits an application for you.
Removing your data
Signing out removes everything from that browser. To delete your account and everything stored in it, ask the person who sent you the link to Leap.
